{"id":391,"date":"2026-03-30T04:57:44","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T04:57:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wander-with-me.net\/?p=391"},"modified":"2026-03-30T04:58:56","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T04:58:56","slug":"thekkady-kerala-india-feb-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wander-with-me.net\/?p=391","title":{"rendered":"Thekkady , Kerala, India, Feb 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Post our house boat experience, we took the long winding roads to my friends resort <strong>Amaana Plantation Resort, Thekkady<\/strong> where we planned to spend a couple of days and rest. Unfortunately the signs that it was not going to be too restful was apparent when we both threw up during the stomach churning ride up the mountains. When we reached the resort, we were greeted warmly and everything seemed fine and the resort folks even arranged a very nice candlelight dinner for us. <br><br>Unfortunately that day Elizabeth fell ill with norovirus and since its very contagious , we both fell ill.
